CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE
The Pentecostal Church's strategic focus is on the development of the Pentecostal movement's work with children and youth. This development work is based, among other things, on the strategy of the Pentecostal churches' "Conquering Church".
<p>The Church of Pentecost is responsible for the School Service of the Pentecostal Churches. The network of school ministry includes regionally based school pastors and school ministry liaison officers. The School Service supports and develops cooperation between churches and schools and reaches out to tens of thousands of children and young people every year. It also coordinates the Base prayer outreach activities.</p> <p>Other actors in the Pentecostal movement’s work with children and youth include the Iso Kirja School, the Fida missionary organisation and Aikamedia Ltd. The Pentecostal Church and its congregations also have a significant partner in the Jippiimissio Association.</p> <p><strong>The youth activities of Iso Kirja University </strong>The youth activities of Iso Kirja University serve the children and youth work of Pentecostal churches by training, producing material, organising camps and events, and coordinating and developing national activities and contact networks. The Pentecostal Movement’s Child and Youth Work Safety Guidelines materials are also available in the Material Bank.</p> <p><strong>Fida Kids</strong> equips churches to meet children and families and inspire them to get involved in mission work. Fida Kids works with partners in Finland and around the world.</p> <p><strong>Aikamedia</strong> produces materials for children and youth work, such as the Jees Kids magazine.</p> <p>Among the most important concepts of the Pentecostal movement are <strong>Fifteen-camps</strong>, rganised by the youth activities of the Iso Kirja University, the Pentecostal churches in the Pohjanmaa region and individual congregations.</p> <p> </p> <p>At the heart of the congregations’ work with children and youth are various clubs and youth evenings, school cooperation, camps and events.</p> <p>The cooperation of the Pentecostal movement is brought together and coordinated by the NextGen management team for children and youth work.</p> <p>Members of the NextGen Steering Group</p> <p>Niina Männistö, pj.
